Birthday set and a tutorial

Hello, Monika here.
I just love gorgeous 3D chiboards and sequins mixes from Papericious.Today I would like to show you how to make a heart shaker box.

Every 3D shaker chipboard set includes 4 pieces of chipboards and one cut out piece of acrylic sheet.

1. Redraw on the paper 5th layer of chipboard  and cut it out. I used one of Back to Basics papers.

2. Paint white back and edges of 5th layer, stick the scrapbooking paper to its front. Stick together 3rd and 4th layer and paint their edges, paint white first layer and additional chipboard.

3. Stick 3rd and 4th layers to the 5th layer, stick the additional chipboard at the center and add sequins inside. Stick 1st and 2nd layers to the rest of the shaker box. It is ready now. We could use it as a great card embellishment.

4. We could also stick on the back a piece of magnetic mat. I cut out a magnetic mat with a die, it looks nice.

My magnetic shaker-box looks now like this:

It`s a part of birthday set for little girl, so I wanted it to be safe to use, with no dangerous elements. I just love those gorgeous sequins.

I also made  a small birthday card.

Flowers I made with Sigma cardstock and  added some Frosting Powder to make them shine. I also used chipboards Let`s Party and Circle Flourish Lace.

Shaker Wedding card

Hello my friends

Here is Diana.
Today I am showing my Shaker Wedding card.

A friend of mine is getting married next week and I made a card for the couple.

I used the 3D Shaker Chipboard HEART. I colored it gold and silver to highlight it.  And I glued the lace around the heart to make it more vintage look. The background is Papericious Premium Edition - The Wedding.
Inside the Shaker I used the new Sequins mix - Vintage.

Inside the Shaker I glued the pattern from the same wedding pack and I stamped a beautiful and short expression. Forever and Always.

Here you can see the whole card.

Papericious Back to Basics - Kids Party Favors

Hi All!
This is Priya here! Today I have a super cute project to share that I made using Papericious August release that is Back to Basics paper pad. It's a sequel of very famous Papericious Pretty Basic paper pad. These are some trendy designs and awesome colors. I love the fact that it's available in 6x6 size as well apart from regular 12x12 inches size. Perfect for card maker and paper crafter like me.
Let's get on to the project I made. Since the papers were so colorful and chic, I decided to try something different and make kids party favor. I made little bags filled with bookmarks
For the little bags, I used chevron pattern from the 12x12 paper pad. I used Lawn Fawn goodie bag dies to create the bag. For the little bow, I used checker pattern from 6x6 paper pad and die cut it using Lil Inker's small bow dies.
Here is a closeup of the little bow. Isn't it cute? I adhered a little rhinestone as well to embellish the bow.
For the bookmarks, I used papers from 6x6 paper pad. These are 6x2 inches in size and I was able to use up my extra colored images which were leftovers from other projects. I finished these bookmarks by adding some twine.
Here is a closeup of all the cute images on the bookmark. The colors of these papers are so subtle that I was able to mix and match the images with pattern papers in no time.
and here is a glimpse of all things together. Just imagine how cute it will look in a birthday party. It will surely add fun element in your party decor as well!
and I couldn't resist sharing another picture that I was able to capture showing bag full of bookmarks!
I really hope you guys liked this project. Back to Basics is a must have for any paper crafter. I will surely stock up my stash with these pretty papers. I know I am gonna use it so often!
